Definitely thrash, this Rrröööaaarrr demo encapsulates the pure energy of the early band of the mid-1980s. “We now had plenty of new ideas to play with. We had to organize them into something coherent. Denis D’amour was a savvy arranger and I was a good observer so I quickly learned how to arrange our scattered musical parts in a creative way. We had great chemistry as Denis and I were accomplices in this creative process. Denis Bélanger had a talent to write powerful lyrics. At that time, we were freed from our Metal Blade contract so we felt we could sail our boat as we pleased. Everything went very fast! This demo opened up a new chapter : going to Europe and signing with Noise.” – Jean-Yves Thériault
